The Kentucky Derby. The fashion gift that keeps on giving to The Sports Muse.
Oh, where to start with this image? Though I can barely see her beneath the hat, ESPN personality Erin Andrews overall looks lovely. But my goodness--that hat.

Clearly the Kentucky Derby was the place to be this weekend to be seen in loud attire.
Behold the southern horse race fashion stylings of Aaron Rodgers. I don't love the color of the jacket at all, but he steered clear of a hat so I feel like I should give him some credit. I can't give him a full on fashion defense, and it's not quite an offense.

Any excuse to talk about Allen Iverson, the one and only AI in my book, I will take. And if it's an opportunity to reference his famous "practice" rant, then even better.
SportsCenter informed its viewers this morning that today marks the anniversary of several notable events in the NBA. My favorite of these moments is featured below. Watching national coverage of sporting events involving Philadelphia teams the past several days has revealed a disturbing pattern: An upsetting amount of inexplicable cheesesteak references. Sports broadcasters, the fans of Philadelphia sports teams implore you: Learn something more about Philadelphia other than the fact that cheesesteaks are eaten in this city.
There's probably not much that Amar'e Stoudemire is smiling about these days. The season of his team, the New York Knicks, ended in humiliation after the team was swept 4-0 by the Boston Celtics. He battled back pain during the series to try to help his team win, but alas, to no avail.
Karma played out in front of our eyes during this, the first weekend of the NBA playoffs. In the Lakers game against the New Orleans Hornets, Kobe Bryant injured his neck after falling and running his head into a chair after a play.

That's right, it's the Phillies ace in his senior photo from 1997's Benton High School (Arkansas) yearbook.
Dallas and Karen Clark on set. Call me crazy, but I think he looks better than Shemar Moore.
