Derek Jeter Is One Thoughtful Guy

Ladies, when hooking up with this man not only will you get some lovin', but a parting gift in addition. Score indeed.

To the single ladies out there: Are you looking for romance? A man who cares about your needs while showers you with gifts?

Have I got the man for you. You may have heard of him--it's New York Yankees star Derek Jeter.

Sure, Jeter's not going to commit to you. You'll likely only have one evening of this romance to which I refer, and he will move on to others almost as soon as you set foot outside of his door. But Jeter will give you a gift for you to always remember your time together.

Okay, that sounds bad, I don't mean an STD or anything like that. Though, you know, with man whores it's always a possibility.

No, Jeter will leave you with what every woman who has just had an intimate encounter with a man wants. Flowers? Candy? Jewelry? Pssh. Those things are easy. Trite, even. No, for your troubles Jeter will send you home with...sports memorabilia.

I'm pretty sure that some male Yankees fans out there were jealous when they heard this story, as their only option to get a signed Derek Jeter baseball is to pay wads of money for it. Sorry, fellas. Sometimes life just isn't fair.

Jeter is incredibly thoughtful about his parting gifts and how even thinks through how they are given. He wants to make sure his women get home safely (and get the hell out of his apartment), so he calls them a car. And obviously they'll want to dish with their girlfriends about their night with Jeter, so he makes it (relatively) easy to prove the score by providing signed memorabilia. What an upstanding young man.

The New York Post reports,

“Derek has girls stay with him at his apartment in New York, and then he gets them a car to take them home the next day. Waiting in his car is a gift basket containing signed Jeter memorabilia, usually a signed baseball,” the friend dished.

It gets better. In a repeat escapade, Jeter "basically gave her the same gift twice because he’d forgotten hooking up with her the first time!”

One girl, two different nights? I think this could be love.

Jeter's mom must be so proud.
